PHS3000 Mossbauer

This documents the monashspa.PHS3000.mossbauer library that you will import into code used in the PHS3000 unit when performing experiment 2.4 Mossbauer.

monashspa.PHS3000.mossbauer.read_data(filepath)

Imports the acquired spectrum from the Mossbauer data file.

Parameters:

filepath – The path to the .ws5 file produced by the muon Mossbauer acquisition software.

Returns:

A 1D numpy array containing the data (counts) from the file.
